Below are some quick answers to some of the most common questions we hear at the salon.

  • What should I share when making an appointment relating to a big hair change?

    If you are making a big haircut change please let us know when scheduling your appointment and we will make sure your stylist has plenty of time. Please also let us know if your hair is extra thick, or long or if it’s been longer than 8 months since your last haircut.

  • Where are the best parking suggestions near beehive salon?

    The best consistent option for parking if you are spending a few hours or more at beehive salon is nearby metered street parking. The current rate is about $1.00/hr, it may be higher if there is an event at the Seattle Center or Climate Pledge Arena. Queen Anne Ave south of Republican and all streets west of QA Ave has best street parking options.

    If you have an appointment at beehive salon that will take LESS than 2 hours and you need to pick up a few groceries at nearby Metropolitan Market they have FREE 2 hour parking on their lower level – enter on Warren Ave.

    Please read all signs posted near your vehicle and download the pay by phone app before your scheduled appointment. beehive salon is not responsible for ticketed or towed cars.

     

  • Is the salon wheelchair friendly?

    Yes, the main floor of our salon is wheelchair accessible. Our beautiful two story salon does not have elevator access to the second floor. If you are needing your appointment to be downstairs please call or message us when booking so we can be sure to accommodate!

  • Can I request a silent hair or spa session?

    We understand the salon experience can be extremely overwhelming. If you are wanting to come in for a service at our salon but would prefer not to conversate during your appointment, feel free to send us a message letting us know you would like to make your appointment a silent service. We will make a note for your stylist/esthetician, letting them know, so that you don’t feel any obligation to engage in conversation.
